TuitionSome short stay groups like two or three mornings of school to give their students the opportunity of learning English with a native speaker. For groups requesting this option we can provide:3 x 45 minute lessons per day. Classes can be booked by the half day, with or without certificates. Our teachers all have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification or equivalent. These courses for short stay groups are managed by giving the students a grading test during the first lesson to establish their level. In this way the courses are flexible and aim to meet the needs of the students. The students are then placed in basic, intermediate or advanced classes as long as there are at least 36 students in the group. If there are only 15 students on the course then this will be a mixed ability class. Class sizes are kept to between 12 and 15 in order that students get the best possible chance to learn. Our teachers ensure that students improve their spoken and written English through a programme of enjoyable exercises, and at the completion of the course students can be presented with a certificate showing their progress during the course if required. We have access to teaching facilities close to the inner harbour and town centre of Weymouth. |
