Trips and Activities

Suggested trips
    Day trips:
  • Salisbury and the ancient monument of Stonehenge
  • The Roman Baths in the city of Bath
  • Oxford – and the library associated with Harry Potter
  • Portsmouth and the historic Naval Dockyard

  • Jurassic Coast trips (local):
  • Portland and Abbotsbury
  • Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove
  • Fossil hunting at Charmouth Beach
Once a group visits Durdle Door, or goes fossil hunting at Charmouth beach for the first time, we find they become “must-do activities” on subsequent visits!

Many groups visit London on their final day before making their way home.

Short stay groups also like to take advantage of the beach during their time here for beach games. Weymouth beach, with its safe waters and wide sandy beach, is irresistible to young visitors, many of whom come from inland towns in Europe.

  • Disco
  • Bowling
  • Cinema
  • Karaoke
  • Barbeque
  • Town quiz
