CoursesWe offer English Language courses for all ages and levels. Our teachers all have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification or equivalent. Courses can be flexible in their duration and format but the usual format for groups would be:Standard Courses One week stay: 15 or 20 lessons (Monday to Friday) arranged as 3 or 4 x 45 minute lessons per day. Two week stay: 15 or 20 lessons per week (Monday to Friday) arranged as 3 or 4 x 45 minute lessons per day, giving a total of 30 or 40 lessons. Intensive Course (option) offers additional lessons over and above those in the Standard two week stay. The above courses are managed by giving the students an initial grading test that gives an indication of the level of teaching required. Depending on the group size the students are then placed in basic, intermediate or advanced classes. Class sizes are kept to between 12 and 15 in order that students get the best possible chance to learn. Our teachers ensure that students improve their spoken and written English through a programme of enjoyable exercises, and at the completion of the course students are presented with a certificate showing their progress during the course. One-to-One tuition for specialised or business English is available on request. We have access to teaching facilities close to the inner harbour and the town centre. | |||
