For young people from overseas, the group experience in England is a wonderful opportunity to learn English whilst having fun and making new friends!

Homestay accommodation with local host families offers students a chance to really become part of an English family and learn the language first hand. All host families are carefully checked and many have hosted students for years. The friendships formed through the homestay experience often results in the English and overseas family becoming long lasting friends.

Lessons, too, can be fun and our teachers bring a light-hearted touch to the classes. All our teachers are qualified to teach English as a foreign language (EFL) and, like our families, many of them have been part of our team for years.

Trips to cultural attractions also form part of the programme, and a day trip at the weekend gives students the opportunity to visit places such as Salisbury and the ancient monument of Stonehenge or the Roman city of Bath as well as exploring the unique World Heritage Site on our doorstep. Visits to local attractions, social and sports activities make up the rest of the programme and let's not forget the sea and sand of Weymouth beach - the focus of many group games!

Recognised as a world class sailing destination and long favoured by watersports enthusiasts generally, all sailing events for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Weymouth and Portland.
185 million years of earth history in just 95 miles…welcome to the Jurassic Coast! The unique stretch of coastline between Dorset and East Devon is England's first natural World Heritage Site and ranks alongside other world famous sites such as the Grand Canyon and the Great Barrier Reef. Famous as a world class sailing destination, Weymouth and Portland, set at the heart of the Jurassic Coast, are magnets for visitors from around the world.

Providing Special Interest groups with a unique opportunity to experience the qualities that make South Dorset so special - from the dinosaurs and fossils of the Jurassic Age, through visible reminders of the Roman invasion and Thomas Hardy's still-felt presence, to the present day with stunning scenery for rambling and walking, and the best waters for watersports enthusiasts - this area has something for everyone. Recognised as a world class sailing destination and long favoured by watersports enthusiasts generally, all sailing events for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Weymouth
and Portland.

Don't just be a spectator - opportunities to roll your sleeves up and have a go abound! Whether you want to dig your own fossils out of the cliffs, find an orchid, spot your very first dolphin, enjoy the breath-takingly beautiful views when rambling and walking the Southwest Coast Path, walk the Thomas Hardy trail or learn new watersports, we can offer you the chance to fulfil a dream or just to have fun with a group of like-minded people.
